**The New Worship Scheduled was adopted by the Council and is based on the recommendation of the Worship Committee. Our new 11:00 AM Sunday Worship Service was warmly received last spring by family and youth. Our hope is to encourage more families to participate in worship and Christian Education through this new service. This new service will also provide and opportunity for adult education for those who attend the 9:30 traditional service. Following the coffee hour all are invited to participate in the discussion/teaching time of the 11:00 AM service. Follow this discussion/teaching time those who attended 9:30 may leave as the rest of us continue our worship with prayer and Holy Communion.
In addition to adding the 11:00 AM Sunday Service, on first Saturday each month, Good Shepherd will host Soul Café. This service is designed to attract “seekers” those who have questions about God and the faith but are unsure about the Church. Our goal is to reach those who don’t worship or know Christ in their lives.
With our new schedule Good Shepherd will hold three service each week and one Saturday Service per month.**
